Description: This is a photo of the #2 School, formerly located on Burlington Street and demolished in 1966. This was the home of the school for African-American children. After desegregation, the building was used to house musical instruments, then later moved to Gilder Field.

It was torn down and apartments are now in that same place. On the left of the theater is a little sandwich shop known as The Embers, also razed.
